Flotsam and Jetsam are back with Rats in the Temple, and after spending the past month reviewing every album in the band's history, it was time to see if their incredible modern-era streak could continue.
Ever since their 2016 self-titled comeback album, Flotsam and Jetsam have been releasing one great album after another. But does Rats in the Temple continue that run?
In this review, I take a track-by-track look at the new album, including “Harvesting the Hate,” “Damnation,” “Absolution,” “Blame the Knife,” “Rats in the Temple,” “The Ghost Behind My Door,” “The Edge of Nowhere,” and more.
With thrash metal riffs, harmonized guitars, big choruses, powerful vocals from Eric A.K., and plenty of double bass drumming from Ken Mary, Rats in the Temple continues the sound Flotsam and Jetsam have been developing over the last decade.
Could this be one of the strongest eras in the band's entire career?
