In 2013, Anthrax released Anthems, an eight-track tribute EP covering the classic rock bands that shaped them, from Rush to AC/DC to Thin Lizzy. But behind the scenes, the band had no idea their guitarist was already planning to walk out the door.
In this video, we break down the Anthems EP track by track, what critics loved, what fell flat, and how Joey Belladonna completely reworked his vocal style to channel Bon Scott and Phil Lynott.
