I love the movie "Hot Rod." I remember seeing it in theaters and laughing until I cried multiple times. It's got an all-star cast of Andy Samberg, Isla Fisher, Bill Hader, Danny McBride, Will Arnett and so many other hilarious people. If you haven't see it, you need to do that immediately.

Hot Rod was also the first time that I ever heard about the Flaming Dr. Pepper, a classic college bomb shot. In homage to one of my favorite movies of all time, I wanted to try to recreate the Flaming Dr. Pepper in a more classy format. Obviously I needed to try the F.D.P. on its own first too.

NOT FLAMING MOCK-TOR PEPPER
- 1 oz black rum
- 1 oz Averna
- 3/4 oz lime
- 1/2 oz amaretto
- 1/4 oz cherry liqueur
- 1/4 oz cinnamon syrup
- 2 dashes mole bitters
- Splash of Shiner Bock

Add all ingredients except Shine Bock to shaker and shake with ice. Strain into couple glass and top with splash of Shiner Bock. Pretend it is on fire.
