I bought a 'non-working, for parts only' A500+ board off eBay as I wanted to rescue it. I negotiated a price but still probably overpaid lol.

It had all chips stripped and was claimed to have a grey screen/no boot. When it arrived, I had a bit of a surprise! The hole wasn't the issue though...

The fixes were pretty simple so I have detailed the whole process.
