Here's how to fix a 2002 to 2006 Dodge Freightliner or Mercedes Sprinter with an intermittent issue with the reverse light and rear brake light bulb on one side. The fuse may blow randomly, or not, and the bulbs may work intermittently.

The plastic cracks off and exposes the bus bar which contacts the body. Of course you could replace it, but here's the temporary fix with duct tape that will do the job for now.
