In 7:15 the word "UPGRADE" fits better, instead of "UPDATE" I noticed it later unfortunately, but ok, it's just a detail, you got what I meant.
This NES game programmed in basic was developed by C.A.T Soft and published in Micom Basic Magazine in January 1988.
According to Gaming Alexandria, the story is as follows:
"The god Fisraduth, who rules this world, cannot tolerate the evil god Tiramisu whose power is expanding. Tiramisu wreaks havoc on the world, building temples, castles, and towers, even capturing Fisraduth’s princess, Alicia, and imprisoning her in his castle.
As the prince of Narwefus, you have been invited by Fisraduth to head to Tiramisu Castle to destroy Tiramisu."
As story suggests, in this game, the goal of this knight (with Mario’s head) is to defeat Tyramis. Meanwhile you reach him, you have to deal with each enemy per screen by battling 'em with your sword. After defeating the enemy, you should look for an equipment (it could be inside a door or in pillars in case a door is missing). Collect it and he equips himself automatically once found.
About the ending message: probably, who dumped this game, made a little mistake with the code in the ending screen. In fact, in the last line, original game says タオセルト (taoseru to) rather than タッセルト (tasseru to), that's why I had huge difficulties while trying to translate the ending message.
So, here you are what it says: "I'm Alicia, Fisraduth's daughter. Tyramis ran towards the tower. I think you can beat him".
Many Family Basic game titles can be in both languages: English or Japanese. This game in English is called "Fisraduth - Castle Of Tyramis".
Three versions of this ROM exist: The original (the one in the video), the EASY and SUPER EASY versions. Of course the original ROM is the correct game (despite its huge difficulty), so that’s why I’ve chosen to play this version. It’s a nice concept, I’m sorry for the controls that sometimes struggle to respond.
Try to read the captions below my gameplay to understand some tips if you want to try to play this game!
Ok, I want to eat a portion of tiramisù now!!
Enjoy my gameplay.
