![Tales of Xillia 2 Milla Solo: Volt [No Items/Unknown/No Damage]
Oho, a real fight...
Game Modifications:
-Modified the party
Strategy:
There are two parts of this fight that are little difficult. The first part is taking out the Djinns that Volt has to accompany him. These Djinns are very floaty so theyre actually pretty weird to combo. You can even see Shimmer Spin send one behind me at 0:11 so I had to adjust with a backwards air dash lol. Thankfully, Im pretty much safe when Im comboing them high enough in the air as Volt doesnt really have any anti-airs. I do have to be careful of random Thunder Volleys or Bolt Strikes when Im coming back down to earth though. Bolt Strike can be casted by every enemy in this fight and it has a pitifully low vertical hitbox, so being in the air pretty much makes me safe from it.
The second difficult part is starting a weakness combo. Volt is only weak to gun, so this means I have to use Condemnation to start my weakness combo. Unfortunately, this is a bit tricky since Condemnation is a multi-hit attack. To start a weakness combo, you have to hit a boss with a weak hit and then a hit from another element, so 2+ gun hits in a row wont start a combo hit and will more than likely proc a counter instead. This means that I basically have to start a weakness combo with the last hit of Condemnation to make it work. This would normally be pretty easy since Condemnations last hit is ranged, but Volt has iron stance we gotta break through first and hes not just gonna stand there and let me hit him either. This is where guard manipulation makes a comeback. We can guard manipulate him into doing two attacks. Its a 50/50 between him casting Bolt Strike or using an attack where he sorta spins in place and then taunts. I wanted to use the latter attack to start a combo since the taunt leaves him completely open, but Volt wasnt being very kind to me so I used the casting time of Bolt Strike to do it instead. Before I use Condemnation, I try to soften his iron stance up just a little bit with Sigil Spear so that itll hopefully break on the last hit of Condemnation (no calculations or anything here, just praying).
In the combo, I do a double Condemnation at 1:22 to reset the weakness combo. The first Condemnation mark knocks him down and the second hits his weakness after the timer runs out, which allows me to easily restand and reset him with Grave.

Strategy:
First, you may be wondering why our old friend Leia is here. Well, there are two answers to that.
Reason number 1: I like Leia :)
Reason number 2: Im actually using her sleeping body to use whats called the Aerial Spell Glitch. In Tales of Xillia, you normally need a skill to cast spells in mid-air as Milla. This skill also comes at a cost where Milla completely loses the ability to spirit shift her artes in mid-air (spirit shifting is using the melee version of the arte so Fire Ball turns into Flare Bomb for example). The Aerial Spell Glitch not only allows me to cast spells in mid-air, but also lets me retain my ability to spirit shift artes in mid-air. You can see an example of this glitch in action at 0:44. You may notice that my camera moves a bit after my Shimmer Spin. Whats happening here is that Im queueing my Flame Ring near the end of my Shimmer Spin then switching characters to Leia briefly. Since Im controlling Leia for a moment, Milla becomes AI controlled. The AI Milla then uses my queued Flame Ring in mid-air and I can cast an aerial spell from there.
Not much to say about Greater Demon itself though. Its counters in Aqua Laser and its jump counter which it unlocks at 50% HP are both incredibly easy to just jump/use aerial artes over. It can be guard manipulated into using its Tentacle Bind attack which is rather easy to backstep if I need to approach it safely. Something thats nice to know is that Wind Blade 2 + Shimmer Spin + Overdrive is enough to get over Greater Demons head which is great for nullifying Aqua Laser.
In this fight, I lost access to the Four Great Spirits for plot reasons, but I also gained a few new artes from my Lilium Orb. These artes are: Shimmer Spin, Whirling Assault, Bolt Strike (Lightning), Rock Trine (Grave), Arrivederci (Wind Blade 2) and Aqua Protection (Splash). Out of these, the ones I want to highlight are Lightning and Grave. These are two of Millas absolute best artes in my opinion. Grave is great for landing and for breaking iron stance due to its multi-hit nature. Its basically my best engage tool. Lightning is also good for safely breaking iron stance since the lightning bolts will always appear on the ground even if Im super high in the air. Ill also find out later in the run that its my best way of getting through guards. For some reason, Lightnings damage counts as a spell so it cannot be guarded. Not a guard break but it just goes through guard lol. Also worth noting that I have Overdrive since its learned through a key item. Its the only arte Milla has that can be inherited.

![Tales of Vesperia Judith Solo: Zagi 5 [No Items/Unknown/No Damage]
I LOVE ZAG I HAHA HAH HAGVHADGHAQDGBUDSBGUSDGIKJSAD WELCOME TO THE HORNETS NEST
Game Modifications:
-Used Arte Sphere mod by Sora3100
Strategy:
I hate to say it, but hes pretty much Zagi 4 with a Mystic Arte LOL. He has two new artes: Shining Blastia Massacre and Punishing Fury. Punishing Fury is just a re-skin of his poison breath attack from Zagi 4, its easy to deal with due to its small hitbox. Shining Blastia Massacre is a stronger version of his beam arte Shining Blastia Strike. Its kinda threatening in that it has a much bigger hitbox but its still not too difficult for Judith to get over.
If nothing else, Zagi 5 shows how far Ive come as a Vesperia player. I struggled so hard on Zagi 1 back when I first started but now Zagi 5 is like... a minor inconvenience after everything Ive been through.
