In today’s discussion, we examined a First Amendment case involving Lisa, Larry, and Sheila Pott, Audrie Pott’s biological father Michael Lazarin, and the broader legal and media narrative surrounding the Netflix-sponsored documentary Audrie & Daisy. We addressed how the film failed to accurately represent the real family dynamics and criminal court proceedings that took place, while sidelining key voices and facts.
