This video is part of our ongoing investigation into the nonprofit WomenSV and the influence of its founder, who claimed for over a decade to train police officers and sheriff’s deputies in Santa Clara County on domestic violence response.
We are examining how that training may be reflected on the street — including concerns about incomplete police reports, credibility issues, and cases that later end up in family or criminal court.
At the center of this investigation is funding.
Public records show that more than $250,000 in county taxpayer funds were approved by the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors for WomenSV. Additional funding came from local municipalities including Los Altos, Sunnyvale, and Cupertino. Private donations also came from wealthy Silicon Valley individuals, some of whom have recently been identified in publicly released Epstein-related documents.
TAKE ACTION
If you are concerned about the recent order that appears to criminalize recording outside Santa Clara County courthouses — including recording police activity — you may contact the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors.
The presiding judge who issued the order serves on the County’s Public Safety and Justice Committee and was appointed to the Domestic Violence Council, which influenced funding decisions connected to WomenSV.
