In California, financial conflicts of interest are disclosed on a Form 700. Elected officials and high ranking employees in every local and state agency are required to disclose their stocks, income and real estate income on these forms.

This is the link to the 460 forms. These are the disclosures of how much is given the the political campagins of elected officials in a city or town. It also shows how the money is spend on advertising, signs, copies, and other campaign expenses.
