We headed down to the Silicon Valley Democratic Party to ask about our Omar Torres investigatiobn and this was how San Jose City Councilmember Peter Ortiz and his " campaign" manager responded to our request for comment.
Omar Torres was elected to the city council in 2022. He was arrested in 2024 and is now serving an 18 year prison sentence for a child molestation conviction. We are investigating who knew and who is still supporting Mr. Torres in the name of local politics.
