"Torn from the Heavens" (天より降りし力, Ten yori Kudarishi Chikara?, lit. Power Descending from the Heavens) is a main theme of Final Fantasy XIV, composed by Masayoshi Soken and arranged by Soken, Nobuko Toda, and Yoshitaka Suzuki. It is featured in many of the trailers and the official benchmark.
"Torn from the Heavens" is used as a FATE FATE theme and has several arrangements and variations in other tracks, such as "Frontiers Within", "Reflections", "Penitus", and the ending credits.

"Torn from the Heavens" is used as a boss theme during the second phase of the fight against Lahabrea in a solo quest battle in The Ultimate Weapon The Ultimate Weapon.

It is track 2 on the A Realm Reborn: Final Fantasy XIV Original Soundtrack.
