Final Fantasy IV: Ultima is a hack by 8-bit fan that aims to present a more expansive version of the classic. New weapons, spells, bosses, and a modified overworld are just a few of the changes on tap.

Only a couple more optional bosses to take down, but these two will not go out with a whimper, that's for damned sure.
First up, Ultima Weapon took a training class and became Ultima Buster. Pretty much the same moveset, but with much higher stats. The physicals hit hard enough to one shot people in the 50s-60s and Ultima can do a few thousand points of damage to everyone without mitigating the damage via Shell applications.
Besides all that, the strategy remains the same. DK Cecil goes on a Bane spamming rampage whenever possible, Rydia is on near full blown Asura spamming support, Edward hides just in case everything goes south and I need a way to possibly get back in the fight, Rosa is on healing duties (but charges up an Ultima when the boss hits the Nuke & Vitalize phase), and Edge is dispensing items (and maybe attacking if he doesn't hit the floor too often).
Once the boss goes down, you get two pieces of equipment. One of them is the Chicken Knife which boosts all stats except vitality by 15, is holy & wind elemental, effective on all enemy types, and can be used by everyone.
The other item is quite interesting though, the Grand Helmet. Good defensive stats and boosts wisdom & willpower by 5, but also lowers agility by 5. If you've been looking for ways to anchor down Cecil's agility score without resorting to the Cursed Ring, this will help quite nicely in that regard.
Next time...Bahamut gives it to everyone.
