Rules for the run:
- EX Mode +4
- Can't use engraved weapon & armor from previous EX Mode runs
- Can't use bonus BP gained from clearing days on an EX Mode run

Ran all the way back to the NYPD to clean out my inventory and got into a couple small fights to bring my hp back up. In doing so, Aya unlocked her next pe, Energy Shot. This takes all of Aya's remaining pe and launches a charge shot Megaman X style at a target. I believe more pe in your meter when you fire this makes it hit harder. It does stun Aya for a few seconds afterwards so be mindful of that.
Past the giant snakes arena is our local shenanigans queen Eve. She invites Aya onto the carriage and Aya, like an idiot, decides to take up that offer rather than fill Eve full of bullets. Eve decides to the reward this act of stupidity by telling the horse to take off with a helpful dose of igniting it.
Eve then goes into her usual questioning of why Aya's fighting on the side of humans, then another fight with her starts.
Despite this fight giving you very little space to move, it's the easiest part of Day 2 by far. Eve retains her claw attack from the last fight, but in place of the green lasers, she has an attack she'll only do anytime she rises into the air out of your sight. If she does this, get to the center of the carriage. She may just move to a different spot, but more commonly she makes energy appear at one of the four corners of the carriage. You have roughly half a second to go to the opposite corner before a huge blast occurs.
Strategy here is just to stay as far away from Eve as possible. You should be able to stay out of range of her claw, but no harm in throwing up Barrier as a safety net if you want. Attacking her is best done after her energy impact or she uses her claw.
After the fight's over with, Eve really wants to show Aya that she's no different than herself and wants to give Aya a bad touch to explain. Aya wants none of this, but the burning horse has other ideas when its life expires, but not before causing the carriage to spin wildly until it hits a wall. That's one way for Eve to get what she wants apparently.
Aya has quite an extensive flashback that more or less mixes in everything from the previous ones, suggesting there was some kind of surgery that she might have been a part of.
Meanwhile Daniel calls out for Aya, but instead gets Ben running in. He didn't come from the park though since, as he explains, he came with Lorraine, but he himself got sick when he neared the stage. Lorraine? She got turned into sludge with the rest of the audience.
Back at the NYPD, Baker announces that an evac order was issued for Manhattan. He and his police crew are staying put to deal with Eve and wants Daniel to assist. He though wants to find his partner and quickly runs out.
In another part of town, a blockade is up as a japanese scientist man attempts to get past. He says he's already conversed with the police station about his arrival, but the cops won't budge. One random combustion later gives the scientist the opening he needs to slip into the city.
After a scene where you see basically everyone evac'ing (and a cop with one hell of an ability to stop a car dead in its tracks), there's more to Aya's flashback, but this time she recognizes the place as a hospital of sorts.
Aya then wakes back up in reality with the japanese scientist next to her. He introduces himself as Kunihiko Maeda and, as Daniel says coming into the room, Maeda found her.
After Aya brings the others up to date about what happened in the park, especially the part where the audience was turned into sludge, Maeda remarks about how nothing like that happened back in Japan. There was an event there though that seems to be similar to what Eve's trying to do now.
Once Maeda recalls the specifics of that event Japan, Aya has a bit of a mental breakdown, worried she may become just like Eve and kill people. Daniel is not fazed and will stand by his partner to the end. He's quite the good person...and this isn't even his best moment in the game!
Day 3 begins next time.
