After escaping the Tower of Babil, the party makes their way back to the Dwarven Kingdom where they are tasked to obtain the final crystal before Golbez does. But to do that, they need to find a friend who will help them fix their airship up so they can fly over the fiery terrain of the underwrold.

Note for this segment: If Rosa isn't level 35 by this time, you will want to grind until she reaches at least that level. She learns Float at level 35 and this spell is required for the next optional dungeon.

Now that we have flight available to us in the underworld we have access to quite a few new areas.
The first area I visit you will want to remember the location of. If you talk to the dwarves here they will tell you that this house belongs to the best smith in the world, but he hasn't found any materials that will test his skill, so he spends all his time sleeping.

The next place is a small town where you can pick up Diamond armor, which protects against electricity. I typically just buy some headgear for Cecil and Kain this way I have them equipped with a Flame Shield, Ice Armor, and Diamond Helm which reduces elemental damage to them by a ton.

After this I do a small bit of grinding to get Rosa's Float spell. I had originally intended to go through the first half of Sylph Cave first, as there's some very nice things to grab there, but at my current level it was being too annoying, so I decided to head to Feymarch.

As soon as you enter the Cave to Feymarch you will notice (I'm guessing) lava on parts of the ground. If you walk over these they will inflict damage on your entire party, however if you cast Float on your party you will be able to walk across them freely with no damage (makes me wonder how Rydia made it out of here when she left).

The cave to Feymarch isn't as annoying as the Sylph Cave, but it's not without it's painful fights. The Gazer enemies can inflict numerous status effects if they use their Gaze ability on you, the Mini Satana's will cast Confusion on you each time they are hit, and there are some Summoners that can call a large Blue Dragon that can potentially wipe your entire team. The best way to deal with the majority of these is Rydia's Stop spell, it makes this dungeon quite a bit more manageable.

On the second floor I show an efficient way to grind EXP here. Simply find a Summoner that calls an Arachne and simply keep killing it while leaving the summoner alive. The Arachne's will always cast Earthquake if they are only hit with physical attacks which will always miss when you have Float on the party. You can do the same with the one that summons the Blue Dragon, but it's more MP costly. The Blue Dragon can be stopped with the Stop spell and taken out quite easily.

I nearly bite it on the third floor as I had something come up that diverted my attention from the game. Thankfully I managed, but still not too happy about that... Rosa gets another very important spell here as well, Reflect. This will help out a lot in a battle to come.

Once you finally reach Feymarch you have a lot of treasures scattered about to pick up, also if you notice, there's a small tile that seems out of place on this first floor, stepping on it will take you to a secret area with a bow upgrade for Rosa. Don't step on the other out of place tile here as it will warp you completely out to the world map and you'll have to make your way back through the cave.

Now that we're finally here, in the next segment we'll find a speak to the King and Queen of Feymarch.
