Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection

Yang and Ursula travel by ship toward Baron to get answers from Cecil.
We get to take a bit of a boat ride towards Baron, along the way we also run into Edward who is also headed in the same direction. And, as many of you may know, in FFIV any vehicle you don't have control over has a 90% chance of running into problems, we run into a small battle early on which ends up damaging the ship and we are forced to make an emergency stop on an uncharted island to try to find some fuel.
This dungeon is one big maze that can be really easy to get lost in. In the first portion of the dungeon when you find your way to the next area you'll be shown a flashback, then control is switched over to Yang.
Yang is alone, but don't worry too much about battles as he is more than capable of taking care of himself. Again, upon finding the next area we are given another flashback. This back and forth will happen a few more times along the way and gives us more about why Yang refuses to train Ursula.
Once you go through two more transitions like this we'll be back in control of Ursula and this time we won't get any more scenes upon changing areas. The area we arrive in is actually one large circle of pathways which can really get confusing if you aren't careful. I go around getting all the treasure on my first pass, then head in the direction to progress the story.
Once you find the save point in this direction I suggest using it as we'll be fighting a boss soon. The moon phase doesn't really matter for this fight so pick whichever you want. Heading farther into the forest we finally find a patch of palm trees, however as we're gathering the oil we are attacked by an Adamantoise.
This battle is another two part fight. The first part we can't really do any damage to the thing, as each attack will only deal 1 damage. Just keep attacking it and it will then attack the three monks bringing them down to 1 HP each.
When this happens we are shown yet another flashback, and Ursula will get the ability Tenketsu, which will make the Adamantoise actually take damage now, Yang will also join the fray as well and thus starts the second portion of the battle.
Your first priority now should be to heal the monks. After they are healed have them take quick shots at the boss while keeping the party healed with potions. Ursula and Yang will now have a new band available to use, which I highly suggest. Have Yang use Attack and Ursula use Tenketsu and they will use Five Star Crimson Palm which will deal some hefty damage to the boss and also have a chance of slowing it.
Just keep using this band until Yang and Ursula are out of MP, then just use Tenketsu and Focus for them and the battle should be done in no time.
After the fight we finally obtain the Palm Oil, and some more scenes take place. Afterwords we get the enjoyment of walking all the way back to the ship, so retrace your steps as best you can. Once you reach the beach, however, be sure to unequip our three Monk friends, as they won't be with us for too much longer.
Back on the ship we get the Oil ready and are back on our way to Baron, but run into another problem along the way.
This brings a close to Yang's tale, however we still have his Challenge dungeon to go through, which we will tackle next segment.
