Fess Williams And His Orchestra play an unissued take of "Hot Mama". Fess plays more than a couple of reed squeaks, but who cares, and anyway when did such howlers ever stop the Professor from playing joyful corn on his liquorice stick!! This is one of his best sides, with super solos (lovely muted trumpet solo from George Temple, and Jelly James growls away menacingly).
