I'm still calling these 1212s until further notice. Get over it.
Hit this Campbell EOWS up a couple months ago as none of the ones running on MCP controllers had been filmed. Now I just need to hear an EOWS siren running on an MC and I'll have heard it all! I believe this unit is in its original location as it would have been within the Zimmer EPZ. This thing was honestly pretty loud, maybe a bit louder than a Model 7. Enjoy!
Campbell County sirens are tested on the first Wednesday of each month at noon.

Tropical Storm Gordon made landfall in the Gulf of Mexico on September 4th, 2018. It meandered its way through the Mississippi River Valley, and eventually traversed east through the Ohio River Valley as a tropical depression before becoming a remnant low. On September 8th, off of the low, numerous severe storms bringing severe wind, flash flooding, and two EF-0 tornadoes, in central Kentucky and southern Indiana. One of these severe storms passed through Madison County, prompting a severe thunderstorm warning, resulting in this very siren activation. As soon as I learned of the approaching weather, I situated myself on the top floor of the library in the quiet study zone, allowing me to get this eye level shot of the siren. It wasnt super loud inside, but there werent any windows open. Definitely a cool experience nonetheless! Enjoy!")
