A couple of weeks ago, I went to Fort Island park again to try and get a better video of this DC compared to the last time I was here 7 years ago. Emmett (@SDTrains ) had gotten a video of this siren a few years ago rotating at 5 RPM as opposed to the 2 RPM it usually ran, and I was curious to see if that was still the case. Unfortunately, it seems that during that time period and now, it was switched back to 2 RPM, which is a bit disappointing. It was pretty loud overall. This siren along with the DC in Croghan Park went up in 1995. Enjoy! (@OhioSirenSystemsWX also showed up at this test).
Fairlawn tests their sirens every Wednesday at noon, weather-permitting.
