This is a stabilizing stand for a stove that usually doesn't require a pot stand at all. This light weight stove is so good in cold weather, yet knocking it over with lit fuel by using a pot that's too big would be stupid.... With this type of stove, the pot needs to completely cover the inside chamber for the benefit of saving fuel. So finding something to support a wide pot while allowing it to sit directly on the stove took a bit of thinking---until the obvious hit me.
