WSP’s team in Scotland have worked with Falkirk Council supporting the development of EV charging infrastructure at the start of the Electric A9 route (spine road that runs through the heart of Scotland from Falkirk in the south to John O’Groats in the north). Located near Falkirk Stadium, easily accessible from the trunk road network (M9), the LCV hub is saving 75T of CO2 annually. The facility is intended to deliver a step change in the availability and scale of EV charging infrastructure in the Falkirk area.
This webinar explores how the team had overcome the challenges with the battery storage, and procurement route to provide an outstanding facility which is one of the largest in Scotland and already over-performing against its original business case.
