Fairyland Loop is an 8-mile hike in Bryce Canyon that skips the crowded viewpoints and drops you into quiet trail with close-up hoodoo access. The loop circles Boat Mesa, hits Tower Bridge, and climbs back out to the rim through changing elevation and color shifts in the rock. Go counterclockwise to make the final climb easier. Start at Fairyland Point, follow the Rim Trail toward Sunrise Point for 2.5 miles, then drop into the canyon. Expect about 5-6 hours. No permit required, but park entry fee applies. Best in late spring through fall, snow and ice make this one a summer-only option in winter months.
