Our scientists are working to make Europe’s industry cleaner!

*María José Cruz Gómez* is one of them – she and her team are at the forefront of environmental policy in Europe, leading the way in industrial transformation.

She coordinates a group of experts from EU countries, industry and NGOs to develop environmental norms for industrial sectors – a process known as the ‘Sevilla process’. Some of her colleagues also run #INCITE – the Innovation Centre for Industrial Transformation and Emissions.
