There’s been a flood of XR news this week!

Meta is now testing face and eye authentication on Quest headsets, while also laying off more employees from acquired studios. Meanwhile, Bigscreen Beyond 2 has unfortunately been delayed to June.

But it’s not all bad news—Virtual Desktop’s latest beta brings even more power to wireless VR, Insta360 revealed a new 8K camera, and Varjo’s Teleport 2.0 is pushing scene capture to new heights. On the Apple side, Porsche dropped a Vision Pro app, and Apple is adding support for the open-source Godot engine on visionOS.
