This week in VR has been quite a rollercoaster — bringing both good and bad news.
Rec Room, one of the first and largest social platforms in virtual reality, has announced its closure. Meanwhile, Polyarc Studio, the creators of the beloved Moss, reported significant layoffs.
On a brighter note, Meta has finally released Ray-Ban glasses designed specifically for prescription lens wearers — and that is definitely good news. Plus, CD Projekt Red and Cyberpunk 2077 are coming to real-life, physical VR.
