Presented in 4K - Located 60 miles East of Los Angeles, the world famous Cajon Pass is known for its steep, intense, and scenic railroad action. With 3 mainline tracks through the pass, both Union Pacific and BNSF trains traverse the 2.2% grades.

While BNSF offers the majority of the action through the Cajon Pass, Union Pacific has many run through trains via trackage rights, as well as on the UP owned Palmdale Cutoff. In this video, we will focus on the Union Pacific trains traversing the pass. Locations featured are from Lugo to Blue Cut. Footage from late 2023, early 2024. Train info listed in video.
