In this we video we take a look at the town of Vulcan, Alberta: Most famously known as being the Star Trek capital of Canada.

Vulcan has a current population of about 1900 people, it is located about halfway between Calgary and Lethbridge and it is the central service hub for the greater Vulcan County.

This town played an important part in Alberta's agricultural history, and it's association with the famous TV show makes this place a fun road trip destination.

This is just my perspective as a tourist, I'd appreciate information and recommendations from people how know this area better - please leave your comments below.
