In this video I give you a brief overview of the area of Wabamun Lake, Alberta.

This is the one of the biggest lakes around the Edmonton region and it is located about 65 km west of the city in Parkland County.

The lake has an interesting history - it was used for commercial fishing during the early 20th century, it has had major mining and power generation operations surrounding it and it was the site of a major oil spill in 2005.

Wabamun has since recovered from this spill and it is a very popular spot for fishing, boating and outdoor activities.

In this video I briefly cover some of the history of this area and I take you through the town of Wabamun, the Wabamun Lake Provincial Park and the town of Seba Beach.

I hope you found this one interesting and informative. If you'd like to watch more of my videos in general, please consider subscribing to my channel - I upload something new at least once a week.
