When driving on California State Route 94 through San Diego's rural east county, just east of Campo there is a building you can't miss. The large Campo Feldspar Mill towers over any other building you will pass for miles in any direction.

The historic Campo Feldspar Mill was built in 1926, and for over 20 years it processed feldspar (a mineral used in porcelain), but since the 1980s it has been the home of the Motor Transport Museum. A museum dedicated to preserving America's forgotten commercial transportation heritage. The museum includes over 200 vehicles, including a number of screen used vehicles.

In this video we drive out to the Motor Transport Museum and explore the Campo Feldspar Mill and the museum grounds, where we are overwhelmed by the collection of artifacts.

The museum is open on Saturday's from 9-5.

The Motor Transport Museum is located at: 31949 Highway 94, Campo, CA 91906.
