Sunday 5th January 2020

A partly emotional return to Exmoor and destined for Dunkery Beacon; the highest point in all of Somerset. In early 2019, things started well. I felt a lot of promise and optimism... But my hopes and beliefs of a relationship weren't to be. I revisited this walk in the interests of grieving and freeing some emotion.

But I seemed to discover something more throughout the day. Positive memories of that day in 2019... A false need to avoid places and situations we might've once shared together.
