Welcome to the penultimate look at the EWWI (Everything Wrong With It) worm bin. I don't think most of the information out there on sour crop, or protein poisoning, in worms, is accurate. With that in mind, and considering the size of the EWWI bin and the number of worms in it, I set out to see if the feed it was given would induce sour crop. It was a high protein high carbohydrate feed that was too much and very wet.
But I was certain the worms would be fine and there would not be a mass exodus or a mass outbreak of sour crop.
As always, thanks for watching. I'll update the bin in another few weeks and I'll bring all the threads of this ewwi series together and also tell you my thoughts on what's really going on with sour crop.
