One of my outdoor worm bins holds 600 litres. It's been 5 years in the making but it's finally full and so compacted that nothing else can fit into it - so it's time to harvest. Just to be clear - my worms are very hard working and dedicated to making vermicompost - they're not lazy lol - it hasn't taken them 5 years to produce 600 litres of vermicompost as such - this bin only gets fed as and when so food scraps are not continuously added to it on a daily or even weekly basis. Just to be fair to the worms lol. But after five years it's finally full to the brim ... let's see how it looks ...
