One of the most serious problems for evolution theory is the fact of irreducible complexity. Darwin describe the issue stating that ‘If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed which could not possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down.’
When Darwin made this statement scientists were using primitive microscopes to study cells and organs, but since the invention of modern microscopes hundreds of irreducibly complex organs have been discovered such as bacterial flagellum, the blood clotting cascade, the adaptive immune system, and the complexity of the single cell.
In this video I examine several of these systems to show that Darwin was correct; his theory has absolutely broken down.
