There are some who teach universal salvation, the idea that everyone will eventually be saved and spend eternity in heaven. Some teach that hell does not exist, others that it is just a temporary punishment, and still others that hell is just a metaphor.
There have been millions of people who died horrific deaths at the hands of murderers, millions who were raped, abused, starved to death and subject to a multitude of disgusting crimes throughout human history. The doctrines of universal salvation deny these victims justice, and deny God His sovereign right to give them justice.
Does God hold us accountable to our free-will choices? Will people be with Christ who wanted nothing to do with Him in this life?
