Who was the sinful woman who entered the Pharisee’s house, wept on Jesus feet, dried them with her hair and anointed Him? Was it Mary Magdalene? Was this the moment she was freed from seven demons? Why did Jesus wait until Peter and John had left the tomb to appear to Mary? Why was she given the honor to be the first witness to the greatest event in human history, the resurrection of Jesus Christ?
In the parable Jesus told the Pharisee, He spoke of the depth of our love being measured by the same depth we understand our being forgiven. Who was the greater sinner? The Pharisee who condemned the woman and judged Jesus, or the repentant sinner at Jesus’ feet?
