I don't get excited about a product release easily but the MXC Taycan cinewhoop from Diatone got me pumped up since they first posted a photo of it on their FB page. I also don't remain excited often, after I get the product in my hands. So yeah, I am happy to report that the MXC Taycan is one of those cases that satisfy my personal taste and OCD.

Before you mention the iFlight Bumblebee in the comments for "being first", let me stop you right there. The concept is not new, we have had the smaller Armattan Bumper and the well-thought-out Frame-Concept BeeBumper and FPVframe CinematiX frames long before the recent Diatone and iFlight cinewhoops. Diatone's MXC Taycan is unique in its own way, it is built like a tank and the modular design makes maintenance very easy.

The Taycan is heavier than other cinewhoop frames but the robustness makes up for it. There is room for weight loss and will probably do that when I convert it to a cheater quad setup. I used 1050mAh 4S batteries and it flew well for ~4:30 minutes, the recommended battery size is 1300mAh.
The duct design choice, with a narrow middle section and same lips for inlet and outlet, remains to be tested extensively.

Sorry for the choppy HD footage, after my last firmware update for the Box 2 camera my raw 4K is choppy.
