Part 2 of 6 for a multi-staged, event progression zone for a now-shelved Sonic fan game. Each tune in the series is a different arrangement and style of the same base theme.
The Village theme is the main version of the song, and the first to actually have been composed. It borrows some typical themes and instrumentation for "winter" music to try to embody a joyful and upbeat tune, fit for a romp through a cozy winter town. The initial level concept would have the player racing through the streets and housetops of the mountainside village right past dusk, in order to reach the base of the mountain and begin the climb.
