This sky-based level theme borrows from various eras of American pop music. The bass line is reminiscent of something you'd hear in Doo-wop or Motown music, while the chord progression, especially during the second section of the song, is more inline with modern contemporary pop music chord progressions. Kinda a mish-mash of things in an attempt to give an upbeat, happy vibe.
