Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this WFCO RV power center. This GE modified board power center is going to combine your RV's AC breaker panel, DC fuse panel, and battery converter into one compact unit, making this the hub for your RV's electrical system. This is going to provide 35 amps of DC output, which is going to be plenty to keep essential 12 volt equipment like your lights, fans, water pump, and other core accessories running while you're connected to shore power. One of the biggest advantages is its automatic battery charging. This is going to be able to detect compatible battery types and automatically apply the proper charging profiles, making it a good choice for RVs with supported battery setups.
The built in three stage charging process uses bulk absorption and float modes, cycling between 14.4 volts, 13.6 volts, and 13.2 volts to charge batteries efficiently while helping reduce long-term battery wear. On the AC side, the panel is designed for 30 amp RV service and includes one main breaker position along with five branch circuits to organize and protect your 120 volt electric systems. The DC side includes rather six fuse circuits for your 12 volt accessories and built in LED fuse indicators making troubleshooting much easier by quickly showing you if a fuse has blown. Installation is also made easier thanks to that front facing cooling fan that you already saw here. That's going to pull air through the unit from the front and that's going to allow this to operate in tighter cabinets where rear ventilation space is limited.
Let me leave you with some measurements here. Looking at what I'm calling the overall length here, we're sitting right at 11 and three quarters inches. Height, about eight and a quarter. Depth, right at about five and a quarter. But overall, this DE modified board power center is going to be a solid replacement or upgrade for smaller RV electrical systems combining AC and DC distribution with a 35 amp converter and smart three stage battery charging in a single space saving package.
