Hello, neighbor, this is Curt with etrailer, and today, we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer reclining RV sofa. Now, if your sofa that you currently have in there has seen better days, it's time to upgrade, great thing about these is that they're modular, so they're easy to get in and out of the camper. They're comfortable, and with the reclining, they're even meant to go into smaller, more confined spaces. So, let's go take a look at it. So, as I mentioned, this is intended to fit in those tighter spaces that you find in RVs or campers. It's 58" long, and when you set it up, you don't have to set it up any further from your wall than 4" or 5".
That's all the clearance that you need in order to get this completely reclined. So, what that's gonna allow for is just to kinda keep it a little closer to a wall. It just gives you more open floor space and more room to recline. And these are really easy to take care of. The upper upholstery material here is a material called Leathaire.
It looks and feels very much like a soft leather or even a sheepskin, little bit of a pebbled texture to it. I really like the look of it. But these are really easy to just simply wipe off with a damp cloth. If you do get a tough spot on it, a little bit of mild detergent with some warm water wipes it right off. So, again, very easy to care for.
As far as the cushions go, they are a high-density foam. These are incredibly comfortable, and they keep their shape really well even after you've sat in them for a long time. And that's because that foam is still over a set of really nice springs. It's a pretty quiet seat as well, not a lot of squeaking or anything going on with it. But between those things, this is gonna be an easy one to care for and should be comfortable and nice-looking for a really long time.
From a design standpoint, one of the things that I really like about this sofa that makes it a little different from some of the others is that it gives it kind of a bucket-style seat, rather than a full bench. I actually kinda like that. It kinda feels like the chair is hugging me a little bit while I'm in it, almost like it's made for me. And another thing that's gonna keep these pretty low maintenance for you is we've got a cup holder on each end, here, and they are removable as well, which means cleanup's gonna be really simple. You can dig in there, pull out or vacuum out any crumbs or anything that might have made their way down there. But all in all, just the comfort and the low maintenance of this sofa added to the fact that it's so great in this tight space makes me think that this is an excellent pick for anybody looking to upgrade their sofa. Now, one of the other things about it that makes this really intended for RVs is that it's modular. These do come apart in pieces. It makes it really easy to get it in and out of the RV. So, we're gonna show you about that right now. Now, one of the biggest concerns that people have with RV furniture is, how are they gonna get it in and out of their camper For one thing, camper doors tend to be a lot smaller than the doors you have at home. The door we're working with today is just a little over 26" wide. It's pretty typical for a lot of campers out there. Doesn't leave a lot of space to work with. Then, when you get it up and in here, we've got this little space to work with. We've got a wall very close to the door, the opening's at a slant, and we've got two corners here that we're gonna have to deal with. And the space that we're gonna be working with in here on our slide-out is going to be 74" wide by 38" deep. So, how do we make this easier So, when you take it out of the box, the back rest to your recliner and the seat are going to be separate. I would recommend you actually load them into the camper this way. It's gonna be a lot easier to navigate that small opening and
