Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Brand Motion Summit View backup camera for your factory display. Now, this has been designed to fit your 2018 Jeep JK Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited, and then your 2007 to 2017 Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited. On custom fit parts such as this camera, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer. Just pop in the year, make and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now, if your Jeep Wrangler JK came with a factory display radio, but not a backup camera, this kit is going to add one without looking like it's an aftermarket add-on. As I mentioned, this is designed specifically for your Jeep and the included Jeep specific wiring harness is going to plug into your factory radio harness. An OBD2 programmer is also included to enable the camera on your factory display. So everything's going to work through the original screen. This camera is going to mount to the inside.
Let me try that again. It's going to mount inside the center of your spare tire, giving you a higher unobstructed view behind your Jeep while keeping the installation clean and protected. It's also going to pivot to accommodate different spare tire sizes and its wide 150 degree viewing angle is going to help you see more of what's behind you when backing up or maneuvering in tight spaces. Even after dark, the CMOS camera is going to give you a clear image with low light performance, making this easier to see obstacles in those dim conditions. And it's built for off-road and everyday driving alike.
The camera's going to carry an IP68 rating and it's going to also be resistant to water and dust and things like that. It's going to be able to withstand rain, mud, and road spray and other harsh environments. Everything that you see here is included, everything that you need for installation. You're going to get a 22 foot rear camera video camera, a video cable, and a 17 inch composite video harness to simplify routing the wiring from the spare tire to the factory radio. But overall, it's going to give you a clean factory style backup camera solution and it's going to improve visibility while preserving your Jeep's original appearance and functionality.
