Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a real quick look at this Timbren Rear-Wheel BES Brake Upgrade Kit. Now, this kit has been designed to fit your 2018 to 2020 Ford F-150 with the electronic parking brake. And on custom-fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend you take advantage of our Vehicle Fit Guide here at etrailer. Just input the year, make and model of your vehicle, answer any other questions that it might have for you and our Fit Guide will confirm if this kit will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, upgrading your suspension can improve the ride quality, help reduce the sag, and make your truck feel more stable while you're towing or hauling, but it doesn't reduce the extra workload that are placed on your truck's factory brakes.
So, if you've ever felt like your truck was taking longer to stop with a trailer or with a load, or maybe your brakes are wearing out faster than expected, or that added weight is making your braking feel less confident, that's where this BES Brake Upgrade Kit comes into play. This kit is designed to give your truck a stronger, more consistent braking when it's carrying heavier loads. These include these low-metallic brake pads that are going to provide a stronger initial bite, so you're going to notice more confident stopping power right away. If you notice here, these shims, these are multi-layer rubber shims, and what they're gonna do is they're gonna help reduce the brake noise to a minimum without sacrificing braking performance. I have a photo of an example of one there just kind of showing you in detail what these shims are like, what they're made out of.
And the positive-molding pads, molded pads rather, are going to be paired with these precision-balanced rotors and they're gonna work together to promote smooth, even braking, and more consistent pedal feel.
