Jenny reviews making triangle square units for the corner sections, shows flying geese which she demonstrated in Lesson 2, and reviews cutting a square on the diagonal for the setting triangles. She then shows the quarter square triangle needed on top of the type of square it was cut from and demonstrates cutting the larger blue triangles from a square patch. Jenny sews together each of the patches and flying goose unit to create the side section of the center star block. The center section of the center star block is the same as the sawtooth star block Jenny demonstrated in Lesson 2.
