Kelly's remix of Walnut Grove by Kathy Delaney includes three extra-large Millefiori-style Dresden plates which are created from a large-scale landscape scene fabric print. The first Dresden Kelly started on turned out not to be what she had intended to do, and she shares her boo-boo (or learning opportunity). She then shares how she meant to create the Dresdens and did for her quilt, using a large Dresden template and fussy cutting from the fabric print. Finishing the Dresden patches requires a couple of simple straight seams, which Kelly demonstrates, and guest Erin Russek presses the units for her.
