ESO - Magicka Warden Rotation (86k+ on Raid Dummy) - See Description - Elsweyr
This is a video which showcases a Magicka Warden rotation to be effective for Elsweyr. This was filmed on PTS version 5.0.4 but there have been no changes since then for official release.
There were no relevant Magicka Warden changes during the Elsweyr PTS. However, one significant buff happened since my last Magicka Warden comparison video I made in Murkmire. In the Wrathstone Patch, there was an update to how the pets inherit bonuses and derived stats of the player. This same buff led Magicka Sorcerer and their Pets to become incredibly strong.
In Murkmire, the Bear made up around 9% of the total damage. Now in Elsweyr, the Bear does around 16% of the total damage. I had access to a different set of buffs, but the distinction is clear either way. The obvious downside to this is that Magicka Warden is more reliant on the Bear than ever. Non-Bear Magicka Warden is now clearly the worst ST DPS spec in the game (doing around 74-76k DPS for me on the Raid Dummy) however you can argue that Magicka Warden isn't necessarily the worst class, with the Bear in the equation.
This is a rotation performed on the new Raid Dummy. This means there are a selection of buffs and debuffs present, which allows easy comparison between different classes, and for other players to compare against each other, if they wish, as a 'solo' player, without the need of help from another player; a really valuable addition to the game.
Here I have made the decision to use the 'Ghastly Eye Bowl' food. This is so that we can compare more fairly with the Stamina classes where I used the equivalent food for Stamina classes. Also, to make up potential small sustain deficits from no availability from this dummy of Spell Absorption passive and resource return from extra synergies. The dummy also takes 4 minutes to kill. Considering very few fights need this type of sustained damage, and that my Magicka Drain is similar to that of the 6 Million Dummies I posted prior to this, I think this is reasonable. The DPS numbers for these dummies are mainly for comparison purposes.
Gear-wise I used Zaan, Spell Strategist and Siroria here, and I will do so for all the Magicka Class Comparisons (with the exception of Magicka Pet Sorcerer). The new False God's Devotion set, which drops from Sunspire, looks to be an excellent set. In many real encounters where Siroria is not optimal, I may well be using Spell Strategist (or Mother's Sorrow) paired with this set and use Double Bloody Mara (which is now the best Bi-stat food).

--- Rotation
The rotation I show here is slightly different to the one from Murkmire. The same ideas are here though.
In this video, I used Deep Fissure 1-in-4 skills rather than 1-in-3. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, it allows improved uptime of DOTS (which are generally still worth more damage-per-cast than Deep Fissure), both in the way of leaving them to fall off a bit less and not recasting too early. Secondly, I'm seeing that with a 1-in-3 rotation, that around 20% of my Deep Fissures did not go off (something that's been mentioned by others before). This happens to me on the PTS server but does not happen to me on live. I retested on live and my DPS with a Deep Fissure 1-in-3 was very similar to a 1-in-4 anyway. The same theory isn't necessarily worth it on a Stamina Warden and happens less partially due to Hail and Caltrops slowing down the rotation, but I have heard the same reports in the past. Ultimately, the best rotation will probably be a hybrid of 1-in-3 and 1-in-4, where the player may decide to use the 3rd skill to refresh a DOT before casting a Deep Fissure should they need to, otherwise just casting the Deep Fissure as the 3rd skill if not.
Anyway, between Deep Fissure casts, keeping up DOTs and casting the Bear Ultimate as frequently as possible should be the goal. Blockade is the priority, followed by Fetcher Infection (try not to recast this skill early), and then Winter's Revenge (although this skill's priority goes above Fetcher if cleave damage is in mind). Lastly, recast Trap/Channelled Acceleration to keep up Minor Force. Cast Screaming Cliff Racer whenever there is nothing else to do.
Flex Spots depend on the fight. If needed, I would move the Netch onto the Front Bar in place of Inner Light, and put the Flex (such as a shield) on the backbar. If a second one is needed, then I would consider Bird of Prey on the Backbar.

![ESO - Magicka Templar Race Comparison - Wrathstone PTS 4.3.0
Edit 23rd Jan - Video renamed - previously ESO - Magicka Khajiit Master Race? - Wrathstone PTS 4.3.0
Edit 22nd Jan - Added Dunmer Parse + estimates
The PTS came up today, and like others, I wanted to check out the changes.
Race changes will be one of the stronger features of Wrathstone regarding game balance. I also wanted to check out the change to Solar Barrage, so this is why you see me on a Magicka Templar here.
On Magicka Templar, I found Khajiit to be slightly ahead of Breton, Dunmer and High Elf who were relatively similar. (It will be interesting to see how this will pan out with full raid buffs later on). All gear and CPs were kept the same (with the exception of a berserker glyph for the Breton instead of an Absorb Magicka). Im hearing similar results for other classes too, but I will test myself later on.
This is just my brief introduction to the Wrathstone PTS. I know I didnt go into much depth here. I just find the prospect of playing a Magicka Khajiit quite hilarious still. So if you have any thoughts/questions, do leave something in the comments.
Let me know what youve found too - I will be doing more testing over the coming weeks.
Given the following buffs for consistency: Minor Vulnerability, Minor Magickasteal, Orbs, Combat Prayer, Off-balanced. Thanks, @stileanima.

I mightve uploaded the full run but I died on the Warrior, so Im too embarrassed to do it.
After more than 10 chokes on final boss at 24/24, we just about managed.
Good job team, especially those on right side since the Heavy attack splash damage cheese isnt viable anymore. One of the hardest fights in the game to do well.

![ESO - Who needs Stamblade? - Stamina Warden Rotation (57k+ on 6mil) - Murkmire PTS 4.2.0
Edit 27th Sep - Here is an update video using Max HP Max Stam food - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P1t8MOxSK3s
Edit 20th Sep - The combat metrics parse shown at the end doesnt match up with that in the video - here it is: https://i.imgur.com/u6qdVdz.png
Here is a Direct Comparison I made with a Stamwarden vs Stamblade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3IJCd4mt6g
This is based on a rotation that I showed in my first ever youtube video last November. Ive waited 9 months for it to be useful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKAwjR5Cas0
This is a video to showcase the rotation of the Stamina Warden that I have been using during the PTS. Note that this isnt a build video as such because I didnt test a lot regarding traits of weapons and enchants etc.
I used the Lava Food, since I was testing earlier without orbs. Here I am using the same rotation which allows me to sustain on a 6mil dummy with orbs and Max HP Max Stam food. Also, I would usually be a vampire instead of a werewolf which I am here, for extra sustain.
Proposed changes in PTS 4.2.2:
- Combat pets will now take 0 damage while in a Dungeon, Trial, or Group Arena.
Here are the proposed changes to the Stamina Warden class:
- Advanced Species: Increased the bonus to damage done for each Animal Companion ability slotted to 3% at rank II, previously 2%.
- Betty Netch: Increased the resources restored by this ability and its morphs by approximately 60%.
- Dive - Cutting Dive (morph): This morph now also reduces the cost as a morph effect.
- Bird of Prey (morph): The Minor Berserk buff is now granted at all times while this morph is slotted.
- Feral Guardian: Decreased the damage done by the bear summoned from this ability and its morphs by approximately 30%.
- Scorch: Reduced the cost of this ability and its morphs by approximately 25%.
Stamina Wardens are very similar to Stamina Nightblades as of now, considering the Wardens buffs and the slight nerfs of the Stamblade. This test was done with minor savagery given (6% crit) so I am able to directly compare against the Stamblade.
The Stamblade was achieving around 57-58k with the same setup, so they seem almost identical in DPS to the Stamina Warden.
Please note that this is all subject to change, since it is the PTS.
I will most likely write up a more detailed rotation guide upon the Official Release of Murkmire, but here the theme is to have a high uptime of Subterranean Assault since it hits so hard - notice how I break up the backbar to keep 90% uptimes, whilst adhering to keeping up the Advancing Yokeda stacks. Some of my backbar rotation is a little slow, since I have to adjust slightly to the ping.
