The eShop Winter 2013 theme is such a fun cheery winter song that really feels like Christmas... the perfect track to remix! I'm sure a lot of people can remember what games they were saving up for... I can't believe it's been 12 years already.
This time, I added two Namco 163 audio channels, which are primarily used for the lead and the echo. I modeled the four instruments this uses after three instruments heard in the main song: a flute, clarinet, accordion. The last instrument was just another square wave.
Also, I tried out a new visualizer I haven't used before! I've moved away from 8bit stuff for a while, only returning recently for Kirby Air Riders. But this time, I decided to try using NSF Presenter, and after seeing how the square waves looked like little Christmas trees on the visualizer, I was sold.
