It's Guile's Theme! Probably one of the most popular VGM songs I'm aware of. In 2020, I went to MAGFEST and heard pretty much every single cover band play this song once (so probably 30+ times). I remember even just roaming the halls late in the evening and hearing a spontaneous performance by Mariachi Entertainment System (MES). So understandably, it took 6 years for me to finally NOT be sick of it!!!
I arranged this song specifically for MUSIC ARENA 2026, released by Megafepps on CD at Comiket 108. Did you know Street Fighter II has two editions, each with a different soundtrack? My cover is based mostly on the CPS-1 version, but I incorporated elements from the CPS-2 version that I liked (like the drums). The song was sequenced just like the last couple tracks I uploaded (in a text document in MML format), and it's meant to play on a Pasocom computers. Though with these PCM samples, it probably could only play on a PC-98 due to filesize.
This is a one-off, I plan at some point to do some more Street Fighter 2 music but for now I've just done this one. In a few days I'll have some Rhythm Heaven Groove covers to share as well! See you then.
