Enzyme kinetics is the study of how the enzymes binds their substrate and convert them into a product. The study of enzyme kinetics becomes easy when we try to understand the reaction by plotting a graph. In our case the enzyme is acting on a substrate and the substrate is getting converted into a product, and this occurs with respect to time. We can plot this phenomenon simply as concentration of substrate or products vs time. If we take the slope of the graph then what we get is the rate of the reaction.
