The new generation of Honda i-VTEC engines was introduced with the debut of DC5 Integra Type R. This K series K20A engine is 10kg lighter than B series B18C engine, features VTC unit which continuously adjusts the relative angle of intake camshaft, making the engine produce greater torque at lower and higher RPM as well.
