To be clear I have an idea why my 1999 is not as accurate as my 25 and Super Ryder (Super being fiber optic sight, metal lever).
HARMONICS . The 1999 is too light. In the video link provided, the pro describes good and bad harmonics for more powerful spring guns. It applies to little springers too.

I didn't say it in the video - bad harmonics - because I can't prove it for sure. But I stand by what I say that the Marksman BBs do NEUTRALIZE the bad shooting of the 1999. NO OTHER little Springer (youth rifle) gives me 20 yard accuracy like that 1999 using Marksman.
My Super Ryder can hit smaller targets better at 15 yards BECAUSE of the great harmonics - tight fiber sight, wood work, and metal lever. My Super Ryder does look good at 20 yards shooting Umarex Zinc, but in that case I place the fiber front sight DIRECTLY on can center, like a point sight.

NOTES ON 25
The video would have gone too long to bring up the Daisy 25, but the springer looked GREAT with Avanti. I likely will reserve these high-quality Daisy BBs for the 25. Umarex Zinc does very well in 25, also.
Marksman BBs are great fit for DAISY GUNS. They can jam other guns.
